Christmas 2005 Pictures

I'm finally getting around to looking at my Christmas pictures from our trip to Hawaii.

Mark's parents were given a week's stay in a 2 bedroom condo and so we were all able to enjoy the accomodations. We took this picture at 11:30pm, after John was able to join us after work. We were able to spend time with Kelly, which was a blessing, since we haven't been able to really get to know her much. Long story. But it was a wonderful time. We played cards with Kelly, and her evil Aunt (me) taught her BS, and Taryn taught Kelly how to play Spoons, which was a hit. Kelly was also able to spend Christmas with Mark's parents house and that was very special as well. We left Kauai before Christmas to spend Christmas with my family, but it was nice to spend 4 days on Kauai with Mark's family.

We spend the rest of our Hawaii trip with my family. After Christmas we went on a dinner cruise, and this picture was taken there. We also visited the Honolulu city lights, and Sea Life Park with the kids. It was a great trip, and I was sad when it was over.

My nephews are so cute at this age. Caleb is getting so big now, and I'm glad to hear that he's enjoying preschool, even though he is a bit shy. Just like me and my sister were at that age. He is a computer geek already, and is perfectly happy to spend hours in front of one. Sounds like his aunt and uncle =). Noah was very hesitant when we first got there, as he's uncomfortable around new people, but quickly warmed up to us and became a snuggle bear, giving Mark and I lots of kisses and hugs. He is mischeveous and has the cutest smile, which he has discovered will get him out of trouble when he's caught. The first few days he thought that Mark was "Auntie Gibby", and I was Mark, but as the trip progressed, he learned it was the other way around. Childhood slips by so fast, we're very happy to be able to go home and enjoy them while they are young.
